Privacy policy

dracats.ru is the site of the audiobook “Dracats: Age of Steel and Sparks”. Version of 30 September 2026.

1. Who is responsible for the site

2. What we don’t collect

The site has no sign-up, login, payments or mailing lists. We never ask for your name, email or phone number, and we don’t share data for advertising.

3. What happens when you use the site

  1. Visit statistics — Yandex Metrica. The counter records visits anonymously: pages, time on site, device and browser type, approximate region, referral source and clicks. It uses cookies and your IP address to do so. Session recording (Webvisor) is turned off. The data is processed by Yandex LLC under its own policy. We only see it as aggregate statistics.
  2. Reviews. The “Review the book” form accepts text only. The date it was sent is stored with it. Names, emails and IP addresses are not stored. Please don’t include your contact details or other personal information in a review. Reviews are kept in private Yandex Cloud storage (Russia) and are read only by the author.
  3. Data on your device. Where you stopped listening, your settings and chapters downloaded for offline use are stored only in your browser (localStorage and cache). They are never sent to a server. You can delete them by clearing the site’s data in your browser or with the delete-chapter button in the app.
  4. Hosting. The site is hosted on Yandex Cloud. All site files, including fonts, are served from there — apart from Yandex Metrica, the site uses no third-party services. Like any web server, the hosting may keep technical request logs.

4. Why

To understand how many people listen to the book and where they struggle, and to improve the book based on your reviews.

5. How to opt out

You can block cookies in your browser settings or install the Yandex Metrica opt-out add-on. It won’t stop you from listening to or reading the book. To delete a review you have sent, write to the author and describe its text — otherwise we can’t tell which review is yours.

6. Changes

If anything changes, we will update this page and the version date at the top.
